2020 continues to be a strange year... at times quite trying for all of us.
I am so happy that even though the world has changed, and we still have to remain socially distant, that we can safely have our annual Banding Together Webathon for the Spondylitis Association of America.
This has always been more than just a benefit. Yes, we are trying to raise awareness and donations for the Spondylitis Association of America (which you can donate by going to https://spondylitis.org/webathon
and as a thank you you'll receive a download of the 2020 Banding Together compilation, featuring 65 previously unreleased songs).
But Banding Together is also a chance for the music community and fans to come together. There will be over 50 artists performing live this year. For one weekend we can forget about everything going on in the world and just enjoy some live music around whatever web enabled device you use to listen to BlowUpRadio.com.
So, while I hope you will donate to the Spondylitis Association of America, I would be happy if you tuned in this weekend and heard some amazing live music. If you close your eyes while you listen you can even feel like you are at your favorite live venue.
And next year, hopefully we will be able to bring back the live concert benefits we usually do in addition to the webathon.
