Let's face it, 2020 has been a crazy year, and it is not getting any less so.
We are still in the midst of a (hopefully) once in a lifetime worldwide pandemic, and all the related issues from it... there are mostly peaceful protests going on to end racism, an issue we should all be aligned on, yet their are racist factions out fanning the embers of hatred... and then there is the weirdest American presidential election I think any of us have lived through...
It would be easy to say this is not the year to do a Banding Together benefit for the Spondylitis Association Of America, in fact I thought about it... but bringing people together for a weekend long music festival may be exactly what we need to take our minds off everything going on in the world.
So we're going to do this... though slightly different from previous years because of the pandemic.
As many of you already know, this is our 13th year doing a benefit for the Spondylitis Association Of America, a genetic rheumatoid arthritis condition that my wife, & an estimated 1 in 200 people (CDC statistic), suffers from. You can find out more about it www.Spondylitis.org.
This year we will not have any live concerts, for obvious reasons, and all performances for the webathon will be remotely live from their home/studio/rehearsal space, or prerecorded.
