Lazlo's Corner

It is hard to want to focus on music given the horrific actions our government is currently doing.

I know since January 20th, the @BlowUPRadio Twitter has had more political tweets than music ones. I'd love nothing more than to stick to talking about music...but I think Joss Whedon (@Joss) said it best with his tweet:

"To everyone who keeps saying "Go back to making jokes/films/etc", WHAT DO YOU THINK WE WANT MORE THAN ANYTHING" (https://twitter.com/joss/status/824448462297059328)

If you haven't been to RockAgainstHate.org and donated to Planned Parenthood or The Trevor Project to download the 68 track compilation, it would mean a lot to me (and more so to the organizations and those who utilize them), if you did.

Here's a new article that was published this week about it.

In the last two weeks BlowUpRadio.com has been proud to add two new shows to our programming line up!

New this week is Outliers and Cold Fires.

Hosted by Dennis King (aka SonofDov), Outliers and Cold Fires, is a natural progression of his amazing blog (https://outliersandcoldfires.com), playing "music for the weary wanderer."

Check out the first episode on BlowUpRadio.com featuring music from We Are Agustines, Lowlight, Jon Caspi and The First Gun, Zak Smith, Northcote, Mondo Cozmo, Ed Tang and the Chops, King Creosote, Val Emmich and the Veeries, Eric Bachman, Old Sea Brigade, Donovan Woods, and American Trappist.

The other new show (which premiered last week) is Just Add Alcohol. Hosted by Ronnie Black, Just Add Alcohol is a "great backdrop to a drinking session, with friends or alone."

Check out the first episode on BlowUpRadio.com featuring music from lovebyrd, yikes, the balloon hoax, the doneofits, the dead mantra, IDK, suture, the harrow (bkn), bernie's fixxx, alpha du centaure, petite league, melting watches, kylie odetta, mr. bukit, electric frankenstein.
