Hi Everyone, The newsletter is back! My apologies for it taking so long to come back, but I came back from vacation, and planned to do a newsletter last week. Unfortunately, my internet provider had other plans. Much of last week I had internet connection problems. I believe the problems have finally been resolved. While I was without internet, I had time to catch up on writing reviews. If you go to BlowUpRadio.com or LazlosDen.com you can read my 5 part epic review of W.E. Fest, as well as a new review of a They Might Be Giants show from last month, and a review of this past Saturday's CD release party for Mod Fun. ~~~~~~~~~~
This Saturday, the BlowUpRadio.com Free Concert Series returns to Buddie's Tavern, with a killer line-up. Kicking off the show is the always entertaining Souls Release. They've just put some new MP3s on their My Space page, so go check them out now, and then check them out live on Saturday. Next on the bill is one of the amazing bands I caught at W.E. Fest a few weeks ago, Second Dan. These guys are the real deal in rock & roll. Check out their video for "running out of feelings", to prep what is sure to be an electrifying performance from them on Saturday. Closing out the night is a performance from Billy. A combination of pop rock and punkabilly, with amazing vocal harmonies, a Billy performance is always a fun. Check out several of their songs (which you can download) on their My Space page. For directions to Buddie's Tavern, located at 277 Johnsons Ln in Parlin (Sayreville), click here. The show starts at 9:30pm sharp, so plan accordingly so you don't miss any of the rock and roll extrazaganza. ~~~~~~~~~~
The new Jukebox poll is up! Check out the Jukebox to listen to (and vote for) the following songs: Gary Paul Hermus - take me out and get me loaded Alan Tepper - karma Mike June & The Dirty Doves - fighting the war Kosmic Daydream - right now Matt Fisher & The Telephone Junkies - only getting older Arlan Feiles - sign up Thomas Martin & The Martinis - love her like crazy Kerry - Cubana Americana Six To Eight Mathematics - promise to be true Head over to the Jukebox poll now and, "rock the vote"! Peace, Lazlo |
