Hey Everyone, I'm married and I'm back from my honeymoon. I need to once again take a quick moment to thank all the bands involved with the wedding, John Taglieri, My Pocket Zoo, Souls' Release, and Paul Crane (Bastards of Melody), Mike Random (Six To Eight Mathematics), & Jeff Brogowski (LawnDarts), for helping to make the day special. Getting married to my true love at the Stone Pony was quite an experience, and seeing those bands perform at our wedding (and singing "born to run" with the greatest karaoke band out there) just made the day all the more memorable. And then to follow that with an after-party, more thanks need to be handed out to Mazeffect, Grover Kent, High Speed Chase, Maybe Pete and Jim Testa, for keeping the party going all night. There is so much more I could say about the wedding and honemoon, but I have only been home a few hours and I have an inbox full of e-mails to reply back to, so I'm going to keep the newsletter short this week. Just two more things... More thanks (there's much to be thankful for this week I guess), to James Wells (Hello Lovely), John Raido (Boxcar Nancy) and Jim Testa, and Marc Maurizzi (Cropduster/Brokedowns), for making our first Folk You!co-sponsored with Jersey Beat at The Goldhawk an overwhelming success! We look forward to returning there for another Folk You! show really soon. But if you want to see more Folk You! performances this weekend, well you're in luck!
Peace, Lazlo |
