Hey Everyone, First of, let me apologize to anyone who is waiting for me to reply to their e-mail. I've gotten a bit behind on correspondance and will be trying to catch up later this week. Now on to the business at hand... This Saturday marks the first co-sponsored show by BlowUpRadio.com and Upstage Magazine. Here's all the deatils on the show: & presents This Saturday, January 22nd 124 Church St New Brunswick 9:30pm featuring: Tall Days is a mix of bluesy-rock n roll. They took their name from the "Tall Days" parties that Black Crowes fans throw. The last time they played a BlowUpRadio.com show at the Court they blew everyone away with their live set. Need to know more? Check out their Band Profile BRUCE TUNKEL w/ Maybe Pete Once the front man for the major label band The Red House, BRUCE TUNKEL, has since become a singer/songwriter who has released 4 incredible solo albums. Come see him perform songs, both old and new, backed by northern NJ's straight up rockers, Maybe Pete. "The Marbles played their first official show way back in 1984.The band was formed by its’ guitarist, singer and songwriter Mike Grau. The Marbles are and always have been a three piece, a power trio. The Marbles have always loved what they do and refuse to stop while that feeling is alive." The Commons"> were formed in June of 1999, after Keith Monacchio left the alt-psyche-rock band The Semibeings, and assembled local Trenton, New Jersey musicians Chris Bellis, Sean Glonek, Tom McDonald, and Tom Kale to work on demos he had written away from his former band. 5 years later, The Commons are still going strong with Keith's creative, mature yet simplistic songwriting and music at the forefront of everything they do. Please come out and help support the local scene and make it possible for us to do more co-sponsored shows in the future. Remember, Gary at Upstage Magazine and myself don't set up shows to make lots of money or anything like that, we do it because we are both committed in our own way to making the scene stronger. Peace, Lazlo |
