Now when I started the Folk You! concert series, the idea was to
bring the community together and have something special and unique. Well it doesn't get any more
special and unique than last week's show.
For those of you that missed last week's show at the Rodeo Ristra, due to power problems there were no amplifiers
whatsoever which meant the show easily could have become "Folk Me" LOL! But thanks to the
talented performers we were able to continue on with the show. What we got was a more
campfire-like fully unamplified acoustic show with an even more intimate feel then the usually
intimate show. My thanks go out to Jon
Dacks, Hadrian
Mordecai and Christina
Alessi, for rising to the occasion and putting on an incredible show under the weirdest of
circumstances.
So make sure you come out to the next Folk You! show, happening November 19th. Let's make
each show a special event and let's make this something that can help make the scene stronger by
supporting one another.
