Happy Labor Day!
So summer is coming to a close, fall is drawing closer. Now is the perfect time to really "band" together to make the NJ music scene more alive then ever. Go out and see a good local show (there are plenty to choose from), talk up the scene to anyone and everyone, if you're in a local band, network with other local bands. Check out and spread the word about sites that promote the local music scene like BlowUpRadio.com. Here's three other good ones:
Asbury Music
Jersey Beat
New Brunswick Underground
There are plenty more out there, many are linked on BlowUpRadio.com so check them out.
I'm sure you all know I feel really strongly about bringing this scene together and we should all get to know one another and one another's music. To this end, I am working on a new "Band Profile" section for BlowUpRadio.com that will spotlight a different band each week and give them a chance to talk about themselves and their music.
Let's bring the scene to the masses :)
BlowUpRadio.com's Album of the Week is Jon English and the Jersey Twister's self-titled debut
