2. MESSAGE FROM LAZLO

BlowUpRadio.com's Album of the Week premieres tonight @ 10pm. As you know, the show will run an enitre local band's album from beginning to end several times throughout the week for your listening pleasure. In addition, this weeks show will feature between song commentary from the band themselves, talking about the songs and telling amusing and interesting stories about writing, recording and performing the songs.

The Album of the Week is the new album from Plastic East. The album, "Tales from the Black River", is a great rock album, and lead singer/guitarist Glen Bingham & bassist/vocalist Mike Peterson stopped by the BlowUpRadio.com studios to record some interesting stories about the songs on the disc.

After airing tonight it will air several more times throughout the week. You can find out when it's airing by checking out the new Webcast Schedule on our Listen Page.

In other news I am proud to say that BlowUpRadio.com is racing up the Live365.com station charts. In one month's time we have moved from Indie Rock's number 67 station to number 43!!!! Thanks everyone. Together we are making the NJ music scene that much stronger.

Which reminds me...Often I hear people wondering why venues aren't packed when there is a local show, yet the people asking don't always show up to shows unless it's bands they are already familiar with. Hey if you're a music fan, take a chance and see any of the shows listed on the Concert Calendar below. If you're in a band and you're not playing that night go see another band's show and get to know what else is out there. You may even make a connection to set up a future gig. Support the scene, see local shows.

Peace
